Veterans Art Program

At the Brentwood Art Center, we believe in the transformative power of art. As part of our commitment to serving our community, the Brentwood Art Center launched a free art program for veterans in 2014. 

The program is a nurturing and productive environment for veterans that gives them the opportunity to express their creative voices. 

In 2025 our instructors David McDonald and Henry Olyphant, provided over 286 hours of instruction at the Westwood VA to about 670 students. To mark the 10 year anniversary of the program, we were pleased to host a special exhibition of Veterans’ Art created by current participants.
