The Edward Buttwinick Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of founder, Ed Buttwinick. Ed, along with his wife, Linda, founded Brentwood Art Center (BAC) in 1971. BAC quickly became a westside landmark, known for its outstanding visual arts courses and welcoming creative community. Ed lived a life full of creativity, joy, and kindness. His impact on the arts and education will never be forgotten. The scholarship fund is a legacy to Ed’s vision, which recognizes and supports teens from underserved communities who would not otherwise be able to attend BAC classes.
