Edward Buttwinick Scholarship
Brentwood Art Center’s Edward Buttwinick Memorial Scholarship Award was established in memory of founder, Edward Buttwinick. Ed, along with his wife, Linda, founded Brentwood Art Center (BAC) in 1970. BAC quickly became a westside landmark, known for its outstanding visual arts courses and welcoming creative community. Ed lived a life full of creativity, joy, and kindness. His impact on the arts and education will never be forgotten. The scholarship is a legacy to Ed’s vision, which recognizes and supports underserved youth who would not otherwise be able to attend BAC classes.
