Private Lessons
Brentwood Art Center offers private lessons in the visual arts for students of all ages and levels. BAC has many versatile instructors with experience teaching a range of creative disciplines including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, collage, fashion, digital media, and design. Private lessons are offered in person at our Santa Monica campus or online through Zoom.

Payment
All sessions must be paid for one week prior to the scheduled lesson.
Price per hr: 1 student $125/hr ; 2 students $150/hr ($25 per hour for each additional student)
Additional class-specific fees may be incurred (e.g. live model fees) based on scope of lessons and student interest and goals.
Cancellations for Private Sessions
As per the BAC private lesson agreement, the BAC will not charge for scheduled private lessons if the student cancels at least 1 week prior to the scheduled lesson. Without this notification, the student will be responsible for the full fee of the scheduled session.
Cancellations for Group Sessions
As per the BAC private group lesson agreement, the BAC will not charge for scheduled tutoring sessions if the group cancels at least 1 week prior to the scheduled lesson. Without this notification, the group will be responsible for the full fee of the scheduled session.
If any individual within the group cancels at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, then that student will not be charged. The tuition cost for the rest of the group will be adjusted to reflect the actual number of students attending the lesson that day.
