BAC Still Needs Your Support!
As a member of the Brentwood Art Center community, you know that this has been an incredible year for BAC, a year of great change and new beginnings. We completed renovation and our move to our new space and resumed in-person classes and community outreach programming. Brentwood Art Center is here today because of YOU and all the students, family, and community members who support our mission of providing equitable community access to the visual arts for diverse students of all ages. BAC’s beautiful new Santa Monica campus boasts 7,400 square feet of flexible space including 8 new art studio / classrooms for creating and innovating, abundant parking, proximity to a Metro stop, 18th Street Art Center, and Crossroads school.
We reopened our doors in April 2023 and are ramping up offerings and expanding facilities for optimal in-person arts instruction and programming in all areas of the visual arts. The winter term begins on January 9, 2024 and we look forward to welcoming you!
Today, we need your help to sustain the organization as we ramp up our offerings and expand our facilities. While we are thrilled with the enthusiasm with which students are coming back to or discovering BAC for the first time, we are still working to return to the pre-pandemic levels that sustained our operations. We invite you to make a special gift and consider increasing your support to sustain us – and all the free programming and scholarships we offer to share our work with those in our community who could not otherwise share the experiences you enjoy at BAC. Please consider making a special gift by December 31 to help us reach our end of year goal of $250,000.
Located at 1625 Olympic Blvd. in Santa Monica, the Center is centrally located for easy access from all over L.A. County, with abundant parking and a Metro Rail station just around the corner. Crossroads school, 18th Street Art Center, and a park, complete with playground, are only a few steps away.
