Free Workshop: Snowy Penguin Paradise (A Family Workshop)

1 Saturday
10:00AM - 11:30AM
FREE

Instructor: Jackie Glosman

In this special winter workshop that combines drawing with zoology, students learn to draw penguins who are celebrating their favorite snowy season. As we come closer to the colder weather and holiday season ourselves, we get to imagine the excitement these dazzling creatures have in celebrating some snowy weather.

We explore ways in which we can animate our penguins with cold weather attire and accessories, making sure each student expresses their creativity in their own unique ways. Using colored pencil, watercolor, or pastel, students develop their understanding of line, shape, form, and light, dark, and color contrasts, while learning some fun facts about these beautiful creatures.
