Wednesday Workshop: Pointillist Landscape Painting (In-person)

Wednesday, January 21
6:30PM - 9:30PM
$80.00

Instructor: Gary Paller

Join expert artist, Gary Paller, for this special one-night only opportunity to learn to paint a landscape in the Pointillist style. This workshop focuses on the Pointillist technique developed by artists Georges Seurat and Paul Signac in the 1880’s. In Pointillism, small dots of pure color are laid down on the canvas. When backing away from the painting, the viewer’s eye then optically blends these points of color into an image. This optical color mixing creates energetic and radiant shades and colors that physical mixing on a palette cannot achieve. Come create a Pointillist landscape painting using this methodical painting process.

Materials and supplies will be provided.
