Instructor: Timothy Kitz
Join painting instructor Timothy Kitz, for this special one-night only opportunity to learn to paint in the style of John Singer Sargent. John Singer Sargent was an excellent draftsman and painter, sought after by the British aristocracy for the accuracy and emotion easily conveyed in his portraiture. In this workship, students learn about muted, tonal colors and how to build and layer watercolors with more prismatic color on top. Transparencies, glazing, working with limited palettes and using expressive mark making will all be touched upon.
Materials and supplies are provided.
