Emily earned an Individual Artist Grant from the city of Pasadena and an LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund grant. She has completed residencies at Mt. St. Mary’s College, Los Angeles and at Stiftung Futur, Switzerland. A former member of the cyberfeminist collective subRosa, Emily is now a member of the Artnauts, a group invested in social sculpture and forging connections across politically fraught boundaries.

Exhibiting her work over 30 years, Emily has had solo shows at SPARC Gallery, South Pasadena; Side Street Projects, Pasadena; Gallery 825, Los Angeles; Stiftung Futur, Rapperswil, Switzerland; Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids, Michigan and Casa do Brasil, Madrid, Spain.

LA area group shows include exhibits at the Ben Maltz Gallery, Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, Domestic Setting, Faufitown Projects, José Drudis-Biada Gallery, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Outpost for Contemporary Art and the Pasadena Police Department. Beyond California, Emily has exhibited at Space 301, Mobile, AL; Hanover College Gallery, Hanover, IN; Gallery Project, Ann Arbor, MI; SOHO20, New York, NY; Here Here Gallery; Cleveland, OH and the Miller Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA.

Abroad, her exhibitions include group shows in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Ireland and Spain.
