Welcome to the Fall 2021 term! From Amy Gantman, Executive Director

Welcome to the Fall 2021 term!

As we begin the new school year, I am excited to share that in the months ahead BAC will be launching new initiatives, programs, courses, and workshops to help fulfill the creative needs of the Southern California community. Our school will continue to offer its vibrant range of programming for adults, families, and young artists to develop their creative skills and expand their knowledge of the visual arts. As we look to the future, we plan to expand our outreach efforts to reach new and diverse audiences and to inspire our entire community to develop their creative lives. As we move forward, please join us in discovering all that BAC has to offer.

Many of you have contacted us and are eagerly awaiting a return to in-person learning. For the present, BAC will continue holding its courses virtually online with live remote meetings via Zoom. Looking forward, the Center’s Board leadership has dedicated itself to finding a new physical space and hopes to announce a return to a new westside location in the coming months.

MISSION-CENTRIC

Established in 1971, Brentwood Art Center has a wonderful 50-year history of pursuing and achieving the highest artistic standards. Since becoming a non-profit organization in 2012, the Center stands more dedicated than ever to fostering a learning environment that encourages creative self-expression, develops traditional skills, reflects innovative ideas, and is sensitive to the needs of the individual and the dynamics of the group.

SUPPORT

As we reflect on the challenges of the past 18 months, I am especially impressed and inspired by the commitment of BAC’s entire community – students, staff, faculty, and board members in support of the Center. Tirelessly working to sustain the organization through the worst of the pandemic, BAC is grateful to you for your support! Your generous contributions of time, energy, and funds have enabled us to endure these challenging times. As a non-profit art center, BAC is committed to serving and giving back to our community through our scholarship programs, Veterans Art Programs, and community outreach. In making a tax-deductible contribution, you are supporting creativity, self-expression, and the arts community of Los Angeles. Your gifts, no matter the amount, help us to achieve our mission.
