This class is designed for advanced and intermediate painters with existing proficiency and previous experience with the watercolor medium who are seeking to refresh and further develop their skills.
Overview: The course is structured around a remote studio workshop experience and is designed to guide students through the painting process by providing an immersive multiple angle view of the steps, materials, tools and techniques to accomplish a finished painting successfully.
Watercolor theory, formal aesthetics and a degree of freedom of exploration and experimentation will be encouraged to motivate students in developing the skills necessary to express their individual “voice”. Practice external to the class will be encouraged and independent activities will be coordinated with the studio work.
