Julia Montgomery is an experienced art instructor with a passion for fostering creativity in her students. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she has been teaching art courses for more than a decade, imparting her expertise to a diverse range of individuals of all ages. She has taught at prestigious institutions such as Otis College, Brentwood Art Center, Molten Metal Works, and Piper Preschools, and has conducted classes on a wide range of subjects, including Welding, Woodshop, Drawing, Painting, and other artistic mediums.

Julia's own artistic practice is varied and reflects her love of experimentation and exploration. She creates large-scale charcoal drawings, oil paintings, welded sculptures, and ink sketches that are characterized by their dreamlike quality, rich symbolism, and feminist themes. Her work often draws on her personal experiences, and explores issues of identity, representation, and the power of the imagination.
