Instructor: Rob Homsy

Greeting cards have a long history, dating back 1000s of years – while the ancient Egyptians and Chinese exchanged holiday greetings at New Years, Europeans began making and exchanging Valentine’s cards as early as the 1400’s. The first Christmas card was sent to the King of England in 1611, and in 1843, the first commercially available Christmas card was sold there. By the 1870’s, sending paper holiday cards was also popular in the United States.

Join artist and designer, Rob Homsy for this fun-filled winter workshop focused on greeting card design. In this class, learn how to make festive, interesting holiday cards that will make your family and friends smile when they open them. Come create special keepsake holiday cards to send to your loved ones.
