Shelley Levy is a professional artist, who has been teaching for the past eighteen years. She has created commissions, Murals and Live Drawing for Trader Joe’s, LAX, Melissa McCarthy, BAFTA and Petit Ermitage.

Born in London and an L.A. native she is passionate about teaching. Her philosophy is to teach the student and not the lesson. Shelley’s goal is to have her students fill their sketchbooks with endless pages of drawings. She teaches watercolor, oil, gouache, coloured pencils, pastels and ink and encourages mixing mediums. It’s all about drawing and observing what is in front of people. She considers her work to be a reflection of the Urban Landscape and teaches from that perspective.
