BFA, Rhode Island School of Design

Sarah Aspinall is an English writer, illustrator, designer and creator of children’s books.  Her internationally published titles include the popular Penguins Love series of which the first book, Penguins Love Colors, was the first-ever title to be nominated more than once for the One Book Colorado Award and has been regularly featured as a read-aloud on the BBC’s Lunchtime Stories.

In addition to her books, Sarah’s body of work has included fabric collections, surface designs, editorial illustrations and character creation.  She has made props and set pieces for theater and tv, and designed art projects for children around the world via the BBC’s award-winning art making television programs; Mister MakerBlue Peter, and ITV’s Finger Tips.

Sarah is excited to share that she will be releasing upcoming titles with Viking Press at Penguin Random House.
